Project Overview
Azizi Mosque is a Jame’e mosque designed to serve the Riviera community within Mohammed Bin Rashid City, Dubai.
Spanning 1,986 sqm across two levels, the mosque provides prayer facilities for up to 1,100 male and female worshippers. The project brings architecture, interior design, landscape, structure, and building services together within a coordinated place of worship designed to support the spiritual and communal needs of the surrounding development.
Currently under construction, the mosque forms an important religious and community facility within Riviera.
Goals & Objectives
The primary objective was to create a purpose-designed mosque capable of comfortably accommodating a congregation of 1,100 worshippers while providing dedicated facilities for both men and women.
As a Jame’e mosque within a residential development, the project needed to support regular daily worship as well as larger congregational gatherings, establishing a dedicated spiritual destination for the Riviera community.
Another key objective was to coordinate the architectural, interior, landscape, structural, and MEP requirements as one integrated design, creating continuity between the worship spaces, supporting facilities, and surrounding environment.
Challenges
Accommodating 1,100 worshippers within a 1,986 sqm G+1 development required an efficient organization of the mosque’s spaces and circulation.

Outcome
Currently under construction, Azizi Mosque is set to provide the Riviera community with a dedicated Jame’e mosque capable of serving up to 1,100 worshippers.
The project combines male and female prayer facilities within an integrated G+1 development, supported by coordinated architecture, interior design, landscape, structure, and MEP services.
Once completed, the mosque will provide a permanent spiritual and communal destination within MBR City, supporting both everyday worship and larger congregational gatherings while strengthening the range of community facilities available within Riviera.
