The project was to design the extension to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Ajman for women and children. The new extension provides Obstetrics, Gynecology, pediatric services and urgent care.

The facility has a total of 128 beds including 14 beds for Delivery, 17 beds for NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), 4 beds for MPICU (Maternity and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), 4 beds for VIP, Maternity ward 40 beds, Pediatric Ward 25 beds and WBU (Well Baby Unit) 24 beds.

The main clinical services are General pediatric and Urgent Care, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fetomaternal Medicine, and Neonatal ICU: Special Care Baby Unit SCBU.
